Gas powered RC cars are great fun as long as you take care of that motor.

1) Keep your engine clean. Dammit! Is this so hard? Any engine caked with mud or dirt or grim is naturally going to hold the heat. Then all bets for long engine life are off. As excessive heat is the number one enemy of all gas powered rc cars engines. 2) ALWAYS drain the fuel tank and lines of your gas powered rc cars after a day of running and gunning. Not doing so risks internal engine rust. Another mortal enemy of long engine life. 3) For the same reasons don't let water get inside the engine. Doh? |
