Do You Make These Mistakes With
Your Gas Radio Control Cars?

Foul ups, screw ups and forgetfulness can be a real buzz kill. Not to mention all but wipe out precious wheel time. Leaving you on the sides lines as everyone else's gas radio control cars whiz by on parade. Also leaving you looking for someone to kill.

Ah, Dude. Ever think of looking in the mirror?
My guess is your gas radio control car is sitting in the pits because of some dumb ass thing you did or didn’t do.
Hate to be the bearer of bad news. But someone has to do it.

To assist best I can, here’s a quick check list of

Here's the 7 Common Mistakes Made
With Gas Radio Control Cars

#1 Glow Igniter DOA?
It might be if the batteries have been in it since Hector was a pup. Easy to overlook if your glow igniter lacks a meter. Sadly and as you know no juice equals no functioning glow igniter. (Or it could be your glow plug?)
Quick Fix: Beg, borrow, or steal another glow igniter. See if that one fires up your engine. If so you know the source of the problem. Or eliminated one.
While we’re on the topic of batteries another common mistake

#2 Transmitter or Receiver Batteries Are Dead
Did your radio accidentally get turned on by the dog? If so you’re done. Might was well pack up and go home. Shows over and the monkey’s dead - before it even started.
Quick Fix: Make it a habit to charge these critical part of your system the night before the Main Event. Also keep batteries separate from your electronics. Only stick them in when you’re ready to go. That way it’s impossible for Fido (or you) to accidentally turn the radio on.
#3 Outta Gas!
"Gas" radio control cars implies you need "gas" (well nitro) to make ‘em run.

No gas means no go. Which in Spanish is No Va. (No wonder the Chevy Nova didn’t sell well in Mexico!)

If your tank is dry it ain’t a gonna start no matter how furiously you yank that pull starter chord you know.
Quick Fix: Cast a quick gander in the direction of your fuel tank. Otherwise you may find yourself the butt of jokes at Hooters later on.
So much for first three. Click the link for the rest of the story about common gas radio control cars mistakes we all make from time to time.
