Because believe it or not it's exactly what drivers of most micro rc cars face when maneuvering around a track. Trying desperately to slide through corners. Looking for all the help they can get to keep the beast on the track. That all or none speed thing is a KILLER. It's the reason driving micro rc cars has a bit of a learning curve (especially Bit Char-gs and Microsizers): There is no in between unless it's sheer momentum that's carrying them around a corner with no juice coming from the radio controller. |
As you expect when you've got more speed than you can handle, there's plenty of flips… or spin outs… or donuts. Which can be fun too.
But flips, spin outs and donuts result from NOT being able to control speed.
You can't ease up on the throttle as you head into a curve. And you can pretty much forget gunning it as you head for the straight away too.
Again it's all or none remember?
Result? The faster you go the less control you have.
Okay since there is no proportional throttle with many micro rc cars what's the solution?
How do you steer, or better yet try to steer, them and still come out on top?
