And while you'll find RTR an especially popular option with 1/8 nitro r/c cars, monster trucks or other nitro powered cars and trucks, you can also get electric RTR packages too. This way there's nothing standing between you and tearing up the straight away in front of your house. Simply open the box the let it rip. Since ready to run means assembled, painted and ready to roll. |
But the power and speed of many RTR options is just incredible and requires very few mods to make them race worthy.

Any more some ready to race packages are even more complete now than before. Not only do they include the electronics, like radios and so forth. Many RTR RC cars packages now come with batteries and chargers of some sort too.Depending on who you ask you may hear electric RTR RC cars are good for beginners. Not bad advice. Since with RTR RC cars all the heavy lifting's been done for you. In that case you might want to go with 1:10 4WD touring car of some sort. Lots to pick from?
And while I can't say this is one of the fastest ready to run rc cars right out of the box, but the HPI RS4 is pretty darn close.
