I could say its been designed to the maxx - but that would be corny, now wouldnt it? If truth be told this is more of a preview than a review. Since it will be widely available the end of August 2004. Designed for the hobbyist looking for a revolutionary leap forward, it's big idea is to put you on the road to fun fast! With a minimum of prep time. The 4WD Traxxas Nitro Revo pushes monster trucking to the limits. |
Designed to appeal to racers than the T-Maxx, it's handling capabilities make it more performance oriented. More track worthy maybe?
Yeah you can still bash with it. But you probably don't want to completely waste the racing potential of the Taxxas Revo in the backyard.
The Specs: Traxxas Revo Monster Trucks
TheTRX-2.5R Racing Engine comes with the Traxxas EZ-Start Electric Start system - which makes starting your truck as easy as pushing a button! Oh and the 2.5R has the perfect amount of power for the track. Maybe not blistering, all out wheelie pullin' power. But the TRX-2 delivers enough ooomph for everything else.Taking the Traxxas Revo to the track will spawn an irrepressible grin.
This truck comes equipped with a Traxxas TQ-3 three-channel radio system that's factory pre-adjusted.
Electronics include 2 high torque Traxxas steering servos…one standard throttle servo…one mini servo for shifting
The tires come pre glued with inserts
The body comes painted, trimmed and with decals applied. If it matters there are 4-color choices available.
Anyway with the REVO, Traxxas has a three-truck monster line-up including the S-Maxx, and T-Maxx. Think they're trying to corner the monster, errr market?
This heavy metal truck monster is ideal for the intermediate skilled driver. Or one who aspires to be. And look good while getting there.
