For one thing it's fast (how's 30 MPH+ sound?). Due in part to the muscular small block engine - the TRX 2.5. And thanks to the hand held electric starter, dubbed EZ-Start 2, it's a push button easy to get going. Even better you'll never need another glow igniter. At least not for the T-Maxx. No wonder the T Maxx RTR monster truck has garnered rave reviews. Straight out of the box you'll find the truck is well mannered and handles nicely on asphalt. Or at the track. |

A three channel radio - the TQ3 Top Qualifier, which comes with servo reversing switches.The Traxxas T-Maxx is the monster rc truck for you if you're looking for a fun, easy-to-run nitro. If so I suspect you'll be impressed with the whole nine yards the T-Maxx offers.
The truck has great ground clearance with a suspension that is fully adjustable. RC Car Action felt it sports the best monster-truck suspension going.
The T-Maxx comes factory assembled with all radio components installed too. So you get a monster truck that's right from the start. Punch in the batters, top off the nitro and you're ready to run.
To stimulate your speed glands, Traxxas made the T-Maxx drivelines bigger and beefier. Good enough for something like 55% or so more power. And we all know what more power can mean!
True disc brakes that work so well that if you're not careful you can easily flip the T-Maxx when trying to stop.
Another nice touch? The complete tool kit Traxxas threw in gives the newbie every tool s/he will ever need.
Still… with all the power the TRX 2.5 engine puts out you can expect your share of wild flips and crashes as you come to grips with it's fun to drive personality! But never fear. The T-Maxx is up to pretty much whatever punishment you can put it through. And then some.
